Manager Employee Assistance Program
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Lead EAP Manager: Directs and coordinates department activities through subordinate EAP Managers and Admin Staff.
Oversees the day-to-day and long term EAP operations
Reports to the Corporate Medical Director
Is Responsible for case consultation/overview of the EAP Managers and responsible for problem resolution
Responsible for performance reviews of the EAP staff
Participates actively in meetings/trainings requiring the EAP Department's involvement.
Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives, and confers with supervisors to obtain data required for planning department activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered
Assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified work or functional activities and disseminates policy
Gives work directions
resolves disputes
sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
Coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy
Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budget using computer
Prepares reports and records on department activities for upper management, using computer
Evaluates current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives to develop and implement improved procedures and practices
May initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge, or transfer.
Qualifications:
Post-graduate degree in Behavioral Health REQUIRED
Current clinical license and current CEAP REQUIRED
SAP credential and significant history conducting DOT SAP evaluations
Significant prior EAP experience
Significant prior substance abuse and mental health direct service and supervision of staff
Past training and experience in conducting CISD's.
Documented history of Managing EAP staff in a Large Corporate setting
Significant knowledge of DOT drug/alcohol rules and policies
Documented experience in preparing EAP reports and compliance audits
Experience in responding to FAA/DOT audits
Excellent presentation skills with documented history of Strong managerial skills
Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of AA budgeting, policies, and procedures desired
Familiarity with functional area
Strong interpersonal, communication and PC skills
Ability to manage management, non-management and interact well with contract labor work groups
Ability to concurrently handle multiple responsibilities
Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
When applicable, may be required to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends
Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
Position is approximately 60-70% direct EAP function at the DFW Operation and 40-30% Lead/Administrative-Management based at same location.
